An auction takes place on Saturday 15 June 2024 at Julien’s Auctions, dedicated to The Irwin Allen Storyboards. These are all original art pieces including storyboards from The Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Inferno, and The Swarm. Many of these pieces of artwork were drawn by Tom Cranham.

Coming up on 29th March 2024 is the The Greg Jein Collection Hollywood/Entertainment Showcase Auction #41185 which includes some further Irwin Allen props and scripts.
The auction season hasn’t yet finished for 2023. Julien’s Auctions Hollywood Legends: Robots, Wizards, Heroes & Aliens Auction on 14-15 December 2023 features 5 Irwin Allen props and costumes including the original stunt B-9 Robot.
2023 has brought us some amazing auctions featuring major Irwin Allen props and collectibles, and the 14-15 October 2023 Heritage Auction continued that theme. The Greg Jein Collection Hollywood Platinum Signature® Auction #7278 included several Irwin Allen props. The top sale price for an Irwin Allen related item was $350,000 (including Buyer’s Premium) for the Robot Feet.

A very special lot (#330) comes up for auction at Julien’s Auctions on 6th September 2023 and that is the original “hero” Spindrift Miniature Prop from Land of the Giants which many of you may have seen on display at the Seattle Science Fiction Museum.

Before the Heritage Irwin Allen Collection auction takes place on 29 July 2023, there is an Azarian Collection Auction featuring 5 pieces of Paul Zastupnevich Lost in Space Costume Art.
Featured in the Heritage Auctions – Irwin Allen Collection auction are two presentation books for The Time Tunnel. Both books feature some wonderful illustrations. Bidding is currently over $10,000 on these books. This is going to be a record breaking auction.
Up for auction at Heritage Auctions on 29th July 2023 is the original Mort Künstler Final Poster Artwork for The Poseidon Adventure. Shown below is the orginal artwork next to one of the many posters featuring this art. Other auction lots feature both original storyboard art and storyboard copies.
Bidding on the original final poster artwork by John Berkey for The Towering Inferno has already exceeded over $200,000. The original art pieces in the Irwin Allen Collection are not only attracting Irwin Allen fans, but also art connoisseurs who will see these works of art as great investments. Original props and costumes are also drawing the attention of investors as illustrated by recent sale prices.
