David Hedison, Warren Stevens, William Schallert, Julie Adams, Joe Turkel (Land of the Giants “Inside Rail”) and William Smith (Code Red “Trial by Fire”) are scheduled to attend Monsterpalooza at the Marriott Burbank Convention Center on 9-11 April 2010. Moebius Models will also be attending.

Irwin Allen TV Movie Disaster DVDs at Warner Bros Store

Here’s a first view of the set of Irwin Allen disaster movie DVDs being released on Tuesday 6th April.

News is coming through from several blogs that Warner Bros plan to release several Irwin Allen television movies on DVD in the next month or so.  Just hope that this isn’t an April Fool’s Joke considering it is April 1st!!!

March seems to have been a sad month.  Learned last night of the death of actor Robert Culp, star of Irwin Allen’s television movie Flood.

Very sad to have just heard that actor Peter Graves (best known for Mission Impossible) has passed away aged 83.  Peter was one of the stars of Irwin Allen’s Memory of Eva Ryker.

One way to further explore the work of Irwin Allen is to read the novels upon which his movies and shows were based.  Here is the novel which formed the basis of the TVM Outrage, written by Henry Denker.
